Still working hard going through boxes of tapes trying to find long lost gems from my past. Wrong Sauce is still chugging along, and we now have 2 new original songs we are planning on playing out live for the first time January of next year!

I have been going through my hard drives and organizing every demo I have made since I first started recording on computers instead of tape. I have lost a few things here and there, but I have a pretty huge collection of recordings that have been preserved. I am almost done with that step, but the next step will be more difficult. I am now getting ready to tranfer all of my tape demos to the computer. I will also be transfering all of the tapes of bands I have worked with to digital. I should have done this a long time ago. I hope some of these older tapes have kept up. After that, I will attempt to transfer any video to digital.
My demos will all be shared for free. No use in me hoarding them to myself! I'll be posting more details on this project as it nears completion.

Not much going on right now other than me continuing to play drums with Wrong Sauce. We are working on a new original song that is pretty rockin', and I can't wait to play it out. That will bring us up to two original songs. I have some Blues material that will fit right in, and I am excited to hear how the band will help arrange these songs. Working with such inspired and talented musicians is a blessing!
I am working on some more solo stuff, and when I find the right acoustic guitar I will start booking Army Of Larry shows. I know it has been a long time coming, but I really had to work on getting things in focus, not to mention personal things that have come up and kept me from making much progress. I have about three albums worth of material to record, and I have been writing even more in the past three weeks. It will take a while to get the money together to record these songs properly and release them.
I will not be releasing these albums on Cd. It costs too much money. Frankly, people just don't seem to be buying Cds anymore. If the big shots are having problems selling them, imagine a putz like me trying to sell a few? No thanks. We live in the digital age, and I am going to make playing live and digital distribution my main focus. If I put any amount of cash on a physical format, then it is going to be something cool like a Blue Ray video or Vinyl.

Lots of new things to report. I have joined a band called Wrong Sauce a few months ago. I am playing drums in this group, and I am excited to play great music with some really fine musicians. We do rock covers from the 60's to right now. We have a few originals, and the covers we play sometimes have a twist to make them "wrong" in all the right ways. Go to the Wrong Sauce page to look for more info and gig listings. All of my gigs are also listed at my MySpace page.
I would also like to announce the i-tunes release of the Army Of Larry album "Elemental". Search for Army Of Larry on i-tunes, and enjoy the updated version of a demo CD I wrote back in 2004. You can also purchase my music right here on ARMYOFLARRY.COM using the Nimbit widget on the music page.
Welcome to the new website. I hope to keep it simple and effective. I will add more content later, but for now the basics are here. I have simplified everything to do with my music to make myself more focused and direct as an artist. It is my intent to make it easier for an audience to find me and keep up with what I do.
